christmas cards

 I made these christmas cards the other day, i made quite a few but these are my favourite ones.

Cake

it was a friend's birthday the other day so I made this cake for her. It's a Victoria sponge with chocolate chips in it. Jam in the middle with butter icing and chocolate buttons. X

 

tea time tag themed swap

 

This month on jammers uk the theme was to make a tag ith the theme tea time, i had this lovely gorjuss girls stamp that i thought would be perfect. didnt put this up sooner as wanted to make sure my swap partner received it first.

i did the backing with paper and washi tape. stamp coloured in with promarkers, added flowers, gems and bow. x

bear card

 

i made this card about a week ago just havent got round to posting it before. i just love the decoupage bear, its soo cute. nice and simple but effective card, ideal for all occasions. x

fairy easel birthday card

 

I have been busy doing a project for someone for Christmas so i havent posted on here much. cant put pics of album up incase the person its for sees it. i really enjoyed doing this one. i used backing papers. bows, flowers ,gems washi tape and decoupage fairy's. x

playing the piano ATC

 made this ATC for a music themed challenge. made using a house mouse stamp and watercolour pens. simple to do but also effective at the same time x

Cute monkey easel card

 

I stamped and coloured in these cute monkey images the other day, wasn't sure what to do with them but after messing with them a bit before sticking down i decided to turn it into an easel card and put both monkeys together. the monkeys are coloured in with promarkers x

Encaustic angel ATC

 

I did this vibrant encaustic background and then stamped this lovely image and coloured it in with promarkers. love the final result. x

Penny Black stamped encaustic card

 I did some encaustic art round a friends house and i decided to use some as backing papers for a card, very vibrant and look great, i had a penny black image to use that i coloured in a whole ago so decided to use it for this card, i also used a sentiment and a few flowers to finish off the card. i think the encaustic card looks great and i will be doing more in this media at some point x

Gosh where has time gone? been over a month since i last posted on here, must get back into the habit of updating my blog again. lately i haven't done that much art because i am helping my husband in the garden in the lovely hot weather. we are doing up a trailer into a camper so that's taking up most the time however i made some ATC's the other day with the backgrounds being in encaustic wax, the first one is a gorjuss girl stamp and i made it into a flying themed one and the elephant is from the daisy and dandelion set, playing football with an encaustic background but i also did the grass in distressed ink. made several others but these are the two i like most. x

Dog ATC

 Made this ATC for the ATC-UK dog themed challenge. made using inks and a stamp x

red and orange

 This week over on  ATC-UK the ATC theme is red and orange, i came up with this as my entry. i used backing papers, gems, ribbon, bow and die cut shape. x

ATC - dark and glitter themed

 

over on ATC-UK this week the theme is dark and glittery, i found this lovely tatty teddy stamp so used this and coloured in the image with promarkers. i did the background freehand using promarkers, i also used sparkly embossing powder for the edges. x

Forever Friends card

 I made this cute forever friends themed card the other day. i made using a forever friends rubber stamp and coloured it in using promarkers. also used some backing papers on this one :) x

ATC - music

 

This week over on ATC-UK the the theme is music, i have this lovely penny black stamp that was perfect for the theme. x

More storage

 Went to machine mart this afternoon as hubby needed to get some grinding disks and we came across this beauty. Couldn't help myself so simply had to buy it. Going to fill it within the next for days. X

ATC - spring

 

This week over on ATC-UK the theme is spring, i decided to have a play with a house mpouse stamp for this one, stamped in memento ink, coloured in promarkers and edges done with distressed ink x

Unicorn card

 I made this unicorn themed card yesterday, i love fantasy crafting. i found rhe image in my craft stash so decided to make it into a card x

Beach Scrapbook page

 

Here are a few of my photos from my holiday to Cornwall in 2020 between covid lockdowns. we were lucky we managed to get a holiday booked in between lockdown 1 and lockdown 2. first time ever at Cornwall and loved it. got a holiday booked to go back there towards the end of summer so fingers crossed we will be able to go again, all paid for already but if we cant due to government rules they will change the date of our booking. x
