Tree ATC's

 

Today i have been playing with alcohol pearl inks with stamps, coloured in with promarkers and also used glitter on some of them. x

Gorjuss girl ATC

 

My sister Tanya requested an ATC using a gorjuss girls stamp. i had this little cutie in my stamp collection and came up with this. i used pro markers to colour the image, a stampin up tree image, alcohol inks and drew the sun.

Just messaged her with it and she loves it. really enjoyed this one as it was a challenge due to the theme she wanted . i normally have a stamp or two for each media and subject, but i DONT! have too much craft stash lol. you can never have too much.

Pocket Tag

 

This months tag swap over on uk jammers was a pocket tag, i have never made one before so this was a first for me, i really enjoyed it though and look faward to making more. x

Trying out my new inks

 

Today i made this ATC using my pearl alcohol inks i got the other day. really like the effect you get with these. this is my first attempt with the new ones, i had a few other inks i have been using but came across the pearl ones and love them. very effective but messy and addictive. x

New crafty bits

 

Today i went to garners garden centre and i went into the craft section (gotta be done!) i got some stickers for my scrapbook im starting, plus some alcohol pearl inks for making cards and atcs, im quite new to these but i love them, got 3 today so got 7 in total now to play with, also got some binder rings, card blanks, craft knife blades and a decoupage pack x

Tree ATC

 

Today i have been in the craft room making ATC's and ghe tee one shown here was my fav of the lot. made using alcohol inks, distressed ink, stamps and stamped sentiment plus embossing powder. took a while to do this and love it, i have already swapped it within 5 minutes of being on a swap site! x

bitz n bobz ATC

 

I received a envelope today from my sister with some made ATC's but also a few little bits to go on some so i came up with this, used completely of all she sent me, still got a few bits left to use another time. also made a pocket tag today but cant put that up yet as its a surprise to a swap partner when we get them. 

Victoria sponge cake

 

Hubby had a drs appointment this afternoon so thought i would make a cake as a nie suprise for when he got home, as you can see some of it was eaten before we took a photo! tastes yummy though and easy to make, all you need is -

8oz sugar, 8oz flour, 8oz marg and 4 eggs.

nostalgia ATC for a challenge over on ATC-UK

 Today over on ATC-UK the theme for the weekly challenge this time is nostalgia. i havent used this stamp for a while but thought it was perfect for the challenge, made using a phone stamps, black paper and white card, simple but efffective.

This week over on ATC-UK the theme is star signs. my star sign is Sagittarius so i came up with this. found this one hard as didnt have anything suitable so resorted to printing out a picture but all looks good now x

Fairy Birthday Card

 

I got this lovely die cut set for Christmas. not felt like doing much crafting lately but getting my mojo back so thought i would make this one, i love the image, love anything fantasy so i really enjoyed this one. first card of the year x

winter tres ATC

 

over on ATC-UK the theme for the challenge is winter trees. i came up with this. i made it by using brushos sealed with pva glue followed by die cut trees covered in embossing powder, the bottom of the snow is also using embossing powder. i then finished it off with some star gems. x

Snowy

over on be Facebook there is a challenge this week to make an atc with the theme snowy and this is what I came up with. Using an embossing folder, distressed ink and gems. Simple but effective.
  

Sad News

 After a few weeks making and sorting out xmas cards and decorations im finally back into crafting but dont feel like doing much. a friend of mine passed away on my 30th birthday earlier this week. was a huge shock and so unexpected, im trying to keep busy but its hard, and also i cant imagain how hard it must befor the family of his. i have told them im here if they need to talk but i just dont know what to say other than sorry for there loss. hubby is goinf to manchester tomorrow to try and fix a car for a friend so hoping i may do a bit of crafting then. xxx

Twisted disney ATC

 This week over on ATC-UK the theme for the weekly challenge is twisted disney, i had never even heard of it before so had to do a bit of searching on it before i made mine, i used a few different papers, an image, gems and distressed inks around the edges. x

Mince Pies

Today i have been getting into the festive season. i decided to have a try at making mince pies and it went well. they are so easy to make. simply mix 8oog of flour to 400g mix to breadcrumbs, all a little water to make into a dough, roll out thin and using 2 different sized cutters cut out 24 of each, the bigger one for the bottoms and the smaller ones for the tops. put the bigger ones in a fairycake tin, put in a small teaspoon of mince into each one and put the smaller cut dough on top . brush all with milk and pop in the oven for 20 minutes. 

 

Cute Cat Card

 

I received the cat image from a fellow crafter. its soo cute i just simply had to make it into a card. i layered coloured papers, stuck the cats to the backing and then added ribbon and a few butterflies. x

Unicorn and rainbow themed atc

 

made this ATC today to add to the challenge running on ATC-UK today. i used backing paper, distressed ink, stickers and a unicorn die cut out. x

Purple

 

Decided to dye my hair today. Hubby lightened my hair earlier on in the will but just got round to actually dyeing it. I went for my favourite this time. It's a dye called vivid violet by live XL by perminent dye. Love the finished result x

Sunflower card

 

got this lovely sunflower stamp the other week and decided today to give it a go. i stamped the image using memento ink and coloured in with promarkers. layered paper on the card and stamped out a sentiment using distressed ink.
