New craft bits...

 

I have got some new craft bits from Hobbycraft. Can't wait to have a play at some point. Going to make some bracelets today though do doubt it will be today. Something to look forward to though. Also going to home cool a ham pizza for tea tonight. X

Forest themed ATC

 

I have been busy the past few weeks so i haven't been posting on my blog, this included a weeks holiday to Cornwall which was great fun. one of the challenges on Facebook for the week was an ATC with the theme of forest. i used watercolours for the background, memento ink and promarkers. the tree stamp is a stampin up one. x

Jammer swaps

Tattoo

 

I had more work done on my left arm tattoo yesterday, stands out well now its been coloured in, got the dragon, toucan and chameleon  left to do, think im having those done in black and grey though. x

Buzz Buzz ATC

 

Today i have been making atcs with different medias from water colours to decoupage and encaustic wax. this is my fav one of the lot though, made using watercolour background, bee stamp, wording in stamp and coloured in, also rounded off one of the corners which i think has a good effect. x

Craft goodies

 

I needed to get a fan brush to try out some backing techniques so went to the local craft shop. problem is they have so much nice crafty bits that i couldn't help myself so i just had to buy some. cant wait to have a play tomorrow. x

Dragon tattoo

Today i had the next part of my tattoo done, today was the dragon and shading x

R.A.K for one of the girls i swap with

 I made this R.A.K for one of the girls over on ATC-UK to go in with our swap. made using a stamp, promarkers, backing papers and distressed ink. x

Over the rainbow

 I made this ATC this afternoon using pro markers, distressed in for the wording and a stamp for the wording. first attempt at doing a drawn one, simple but effective x

Oriental ATC

Over on ATC-UK  the theme for the week is oriental so i came up with this. i used watercolours, stamps, gems distressed ink and embossing powder. x

Green themed birthday card

 Green themed birthday card, i made this card using a new technique/ diffrent shaped card and o enjoyed doing it. i used a flower topper i made a while ago as it was perfect for the flap on the card. x

 Here is a card i made whilst at a friends house on Sunday, have been busy so only just got round to taking photos my creations, I'm sharing this one as its my favourite. simple but effective. i used promarkers to colour in the flowers.

Getting messy!

I made some scones and cakes yesterday as hubby is out caving today and im visiting a friend so thought it would be good to take some yummy treats x

Re dyed my hair

The colour on my hair has started to fade a bit and my roots were showing so hubby helped me dye it - well more like i sat there whilst he dyed it for me. :)

Pizza

surfer dude card

I came across this cute stamp earlier that i had previously coloured in with promarkers. i added a few layers of backing papers and then i added the image, to finish i added ribbon. x

ATC-UK window challenge

This week over on ATC-UK the theme is windows, i came up with this one with a few suggestions as well. i did the background using an embossing folder. the window was done using die cutters and then the image was stamped and coloured in with promarkers. i then stuck the image behind the window, to finish i added the little butterfly. x

LOVE scrapbook/note book

I made this scrapbook/ note book for my hubby as a present for our wedding anniversary yesterday using a stencil to get the love wording, i then decorated with coloured papers. ribbon, stickers, die cut shapes as well as photos. x

Watercolour AND distressed ink ATC's

 i am new to watercolours and thought i would give these a go after a failed first attempt. i got some help and advice from my aunty. i water coloured the backgrounds. let them dry, mounted them onto the card backs and then stamped images, the tree one as has the trees coloured in with promarkers. x

Celebration cake

Tomorrow its mine and bri's 11th wedding anniversary and to celebrate i made this Victorian sponge cake. in the middle to sandwich the two pieces together is chocolate spread and on the top it has rice crispies mixed with chocolate. looking yummy but not allowing any to be eaten until tomorrow. x

C.R.A.F.T - Challenge 565 Summer

This week over on C.R.A.F.T challenges the theme is summer so i came up with this card for the challenge, made using pop out circle and stuck the word sun onto it and added some bright flowers. x

Anniversary goodies

Its my 11 year wedding anniversary on Saturday and i bought hubby a new caving furry so he let me loose in the local craft shop! here is what i chose, i cant wait to play but I'm not allowed it until the 25th. i got a lovely range of bits to play with. x

New Tattoo part 1

 Today i went and had my first part of my left sleeve, sore but worth it. still need several  sessions to finish it. x

ATC-UK Challenge - transport

This week for the one ATC one challenge atc over on ATC-UK the theme is transport, i came across this vintage themed stamp set in my draw (probably way more stamps than the one i have chosen! but this was the first one i came across. i decided to do something a little different and go black and white for this ATC. I used white card, black card , a stamps and memento ink. quick, easy, simple but effective. x

Challenge # 564 Christmas/ Humourous

over on c.r.a.f.t challenges the theme this week is christmas-humourour. used my "smirk" christmas themed stamps for this one, was nice to do as i havent used these stamps in a long time. x
